Michigan football players coached on how to enjoy a short break before workouts resume

Michigan football players return to practice Wednesday once they're in New Orleans for the Jan. 3 Sugar Bowl against Virginia Tech (8:30 p.m., ESPN).

The Wolverines last worked out Friday, and Michigan coach Brady Hoke and strength and conditioning director Aaron Wellman had a message for the players before they left campus for four days.

"Just don't eat too much," Hoke said. "We've got to be smart enough to know that when we get back down there, on the 28th, we've got a lot of work to do."
