The Michigan football team will conduct its annual spring game on Saturday, April 17, the Michigan athletic department announced Thursday.

The spring game, which serves as the final practice of the spring workouts, will be at Michigan Stadium. The game time has not been determined, the release said.

Approximately 50,000 fans attended the spring game in 2009.

I think Tate will really be able to flourish against a Defense like this one. hell have another day like Delaware state.

UM will be improve. The defense is now being built. 1st season was the offense that was the problem, 2nd year they improved and the defense needed improvement. 3rd year improvement. We may not have BG and DW but there are plenty of guys that can step-up. I predict a successful season for UM and RRR. Meaning 8 wins atleast. UM will have 4 QBs that can run RR offense. Many red-shirts will be playn too. Many on Defense and some on offense so they all just have to play well and coaches have to make calls and UM will be surprising the college world. GO BLUE!!!!

@Chango- "and stick it to....sweater vests, and dantonios in our league. Better worry about sticking in to the Zooks and the Fitzgerald's first!!

In 2 years we've seen negative pub come about that any coach in the NCAA could have had brought about. RR has a target on his back because he has not won. His personal affairs are his, they did ot have to come out but the press will do their job and paparazize (I made that word up LOL). If there is one thing RR should do is be gentle concerning UM tradition. He can easily turn fans against him by implementing. He oviously did not come to UM and pledge to ruin things. He needs to win next year. I for one like how he is shaking things up, I'm being patient and the reward will be year three. Doesn't make my or you less of a UM fan or follower. In the end like you said, UM will improve. To me...I'd rather have it be with him and have UM stick it to the Joe Tillers (Mr. Snake Oil himself), sweater vests, and dantonios in our league. I do like Brandon as AD and I hope he shakes it up and take UM to higher heights.

Chango, You've got to admit that the cracks at Michigan have been earned over the two years since RR has arrived. The good thing though, is that Michigan will improve, with or without RR, now that Bo disciple Brandon has taken over at AD. In Michigan we trust.

A chance for all those quarterbacks to try to outshine one another. And after it's over they will say that they are BFF's forever! And Coach Rod won't have any idea who the starter will be until the first game because they competed so well against each other.

tate vs. drob vs dgardner....spring game is going to be great entertainment. Hopefully our defense will shine a little more this year. Be nice to break the spring game attendance record that I believe Tennessee or Ohio State made last year.

I expect Tate to lay down after a couple of plays and wait to people cheer him to get up in a heroic fashion. Saw that 40 times last season. Either that or he's really soft.

looking forward to see what the wolverines can pull off this season. If anyone is heading out to the scrimmage, just remember to dress plenty warm as its usually pretty cold when they have this. Its a lot of fun either way though and last year they did a tour of the locker room too.
