Cash, Out of curiousity, was Rucker in jail from the day he was arrested. I do not believe so. I do not believe that the probation officer recommended jail time until after the first game suspended. Of course... there was that bowl game he missed also, and he wasn't in jail for that either. Tad different. Also, if you truly believe that Rucker should be suspended... please step up denounce RR for not suspending Grady, Stonum, and now Touissant. If his license was suspended... it means he violated the law to begin with, and is now a repeat offender. Again, don't let a fact get in the way of a good story.

Yelmonian, Well.....uh...regarding Rucker...it's hard to play a game while you are in jail. That's doesn't really count as "suspension" that counts as incarceration.

Spartyisyourlittlesister are misinformed. Rucker has missed the last two games. Rucker missed last years bowl game. And you are referrring to the wrong Grady. Go back to his older brother. And lastly, it is quite convenient you forgot to mention Stonum. DUI. Probation violations (multiple) for that DUI, thrown in jail for the probation violations. He has never skipped a beat with the team, and plays significant time. But yeah... Rucker is an evil son of a gun. And hasn't missed any games... according to your world. If you look, we are starting a freshman in his position for the last two games. A few misrepresented facts never hurt a good story, eh?

Grady hardly played last year and Touissant has barely seen the field this year!! C.L. Rucker played in every game this season while on probation!!

Murrow posted a comment that said something to the effect of what's next. @Forever27... you are right. Much different. Rucker has missed several games while being suspended by Coach Dantonio for his bad judgement. So far I have not seen a suspension for Grady, Stonum, or Toussaint. I have not seen an Op Ed hack job from Mitch Albom yet regarding any of these three, but I have read the 2 page article from Mitch "lips firmly planted on UM's tail pipe" Albom regarding Rucker. And I have a hard time with the "dorm room" brawl incident... that truly boils down to a fight over a girl. No weapons, no ski masks... just a bunch of dumb *ss hormonal young men... fighting over a girl. But yeah... that's a federal crime. Keep up the moral high ground here.

@Sean T. Rucker's situation is a lot different than Fitz's. Getting a DUI (brought down to reckless driving because of nepotism) while on probation for taking part in the dorm room brawl is far worse than driving on a suspended license.

FYI, Fitz was also seen jaywalking across South University. Several witnesses have confirmed it.

The same thing has happened a couple of times to me on after I posted. It must be about C.L. Rucker's offense because Yelmonian is a Spartan. As far as Fitz Toussaint, he's young and thought he could get away with it....nothing big. And so I must say the same of Rucker of E.Lansing.

Yelmonian is responding to a comment from Edward R Murrow that does not appear to exist. It must be one of those invisible comments left by Edward R Murrow's Ghost.

Edward R Murrow, This is the least of the issues. I realize that this is a court issue... but after a while, certain things seem more important in life than others. You have a semi-mature young man that doesn't quite get it. We will see if the coach suspends him, and if that is enough to wake the young man up. If he had actually hurt someone, committed a violent crime, etc... I think it would be an embarresment. As it is, he is acting like many in every day society. Granted these are representatives of a big time university and get a "free ride" but they still are young people that haven't quite figured it out yet.
