Let me first say that RVB is a quality kid and I wish him all the success in the world. That said, our defense was absolutely atrocious over the last several years (ranked well outside the top 100). How can anyone on the D qualify for the watch list of any award?

Those guys on the front line have been through a LOT with 2 coaching changes, losing, etc. They have done nothing but represent the best of Michigan attitude, played at a consistently high level, and kept a good face, no matter who the coach was. I wish them all the best of success and hope that awards will pour in!!

Good for RVB! I hope he has a great final season. Ryan is kind of lunch-pail type of DE who isn't flashy, but is in there working hard every game. He's been relatively injury-free too which is worth a lot. Hopefully his and Mike Martin's experience will be a big boost for the younger guys.
