Michigan football teammates David Molk and Mike Martin are among the 65 players on the preseason Outland Trophy watch list released Friday.

The Outland Trophy honors the best interior lineman in college football and voting is done by the Football Writers Association of America.

Molk is one of 11 centers on the watch list, and Martin is one of 16 defensive tackles. The Big Ten placed the most players on the list with 13. The SEC has 11 and the Pac-12 nine.

Molk was a first-team All-Big Ten player. Martin, a 6-foot-2, 299-pound second-team All-Big Ten player, had 108 tackles and 6.5 sacks last season.

Martin also is on the 87-player preseason Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list. That award goes to the nation's best defensive player.
