The headline was changed to fix a spelling error.

Junior wide receiver Roy Roundtree, who led the Michigan football team with 72 catches for 935 yards and seven touchdowns last season, is on the 75-member Biletnikoff Award preseason watch list. The annual award is presented to the nation's best receiver.

Roundtree is one of nine Big Ten Conference players on the Biletnikoff watch list. The others: Demario Belcher of Indiana; B.J. Cunningham of Michigan State; Jeremy Ebert of Northwestern, A.J. Jenkins of Illinois, DaJon McKnight of Minnesota; Marvin McNutt of Iowa; Derrick Moye of Penn State and Devier Posey of Ohio State.

Roundtree needs to improve his strength because this offense will require him to shed a defender at the line. Junior Hemingway is the receiver to watch! He is very physical and has great hands. It would be great to see Roundtree producing without the spread, however, it's just not likely unless he gets serious in the weight-room.

Roundtree won't win, but he could have a pretty decent year. It all depends on how Borges tweaks the WCO, and how many of those tweaks Hoke lets him use.

I think a good share of Roundtree's catches last year were when the defenders cheated and paid more attention to Denard's running ability than defending Roundtree as a receiver. I hope he can still thrive under the new offense where he will receive a lot more attention if Denard stays in the pocket. I hope it works out for him and U-M as a whole. I also hope he wears 'stck em' on his hands to help him catch the ball like Biletnikoff did and not drop clutch passes, which he had a tendency to do last year.

This is so awesome for Roundtree. He was fantastic last year. Also make sure to vote for Denard in this poll for best preseason QB of 2011 http://www.chatsports.com/a/Which-QB-would-you-want-under-center-for-your-team-in-2011-40-39
