Michigan's Denard Robinson is Big Ten Player of Week for third time in 5 weeks
Michigan sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson was named the Big Ten Conference's offensive Player of the Week for the third time in the last five weeks, the league announced today.
Robinson, whose touchdown with 17 seconds left Saturday secured a 42-35 victory for the Michigan football team against Indiana, had 494 yards of total offense. He was 10-of-16 passing for 277 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 19 times for 217 yards and two touchdowns.
Michigan State's Keshawn Martin earned special teams Big Ten honors this week. He accounted for 190 all-purpose yards, including a 74-yard punt return, against Wisconsin.
Iowa's Adrian Clayborn was the Big Ten defensive Player of the Week.

Denard was great - again! But, I'd give a darn close 2nd place for offensive player to the receiver from Indiana who lit up Michigan's secondary for 221 yards or whatever it was. He was unstoppable.

No matter how bad the D is, if we outscore MSU we win!! Go DRob and the entire offence. It takes 11 players to run an effective offence, which ours is rated #2 in the NCAA. We actually have the highest yards per play in the NCAA's. I justed wanted to let everyone know because 3 and Pout only tells us how bad our defence is. Because we score so fast, our time of posession is very low. TOP really does not matter as long as we score more than the other guys. GO BLUE!!!!!!
