By AnnArbor.com Staff

Not many players wait until signing day to announce their decision, but Cleveland Glenville linebacker Frank Clark and Hurst (Texas) L.D. Bell tight end Chris Barnett were two of them.

Clark sent a letter of intent to theMichigan football offices today after announcing his intentions early this morning. Barnett made Michigan his choice this afternoon, submitting his letter just before coach Brady Hoke stepped to the podium for a 2 p.m. press conference.

Clark told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that former Michigan player Pierre Woods, a fellow Glenville graduate, played a big role in his recruitment.

Clark, who said he expects to play linebacker or safety for the Wolverines, chose Michigan over Michigan State and North Carolina. He's a 3-star recruit and the No. 52 player in Ohio according to Rivals.com.

Barnett is a 4-star tight end prospect who originally commited to attend Arkansas. Rivals rates him as the 14th-best tight end in the country and the 32nd best player in the state of Texas.
