Troy Woolfolk, other Michigan football players to serve as waiters at fundraiser

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Troy Woolfolk, a senior cornerback on the Michigan football team, and some of his teammates will serve as waiters June 26 in the Paws for a Cause benefit for the Humane Society of Huron Valley.

The event, at the Four Points Sheraton in Ann Arbor, includes a three-course meal and a silent auction. For tickets, visit pawsforacausebenefit.eventbrite.com or email Stephanie Belton at sbelton@a-listnetwork.com or call 713-816-3223.

Woolfolk missed all of last season when he injured his foot during the preseason. He started all 21 games as a junior in 2009 and had 46 tackles.

Michigan players serve as waiters for charity events. Players from THE Ohio State University stiff waiters for the free meals they get as illegal benefits. I think there's a pattern here....

"He started all 21 games as a junior in 2009" No wonder he was injured after such a long season, poor guy must have been exhausted!!!
