Welcome to bizarro Big Ten universe
Between the announced likelihood of a nine-game conference schedule, talk of a championship game, the addition of Nebraska and the possibility of moving Michigan-Ohio State, it sure felt like a bizarro universe at Big Ten media days, writes SI.com's Stewart Mandel.
Mandel writes that Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany decided to seek the upheaval after some conferences coaches became concerned the league was falling behind its peers.
"If you're responsible for the welfare of a conference, you have to look at what's happening around you," Delany said.
