Troy Woolfolk was probably the one player the Michigan football team could least afford to lose. Now that he's been lost, who is the most indispensable Wolverine? Vote below.

No way Molk is them most irreplaceable. Molk may be the most talented or may have the most draft potential but Molk is not going to win or lose games for us. Does he affect the team? Sure. A lot of players do. But, during the same time in which Molk was out, Tate hurt his shoulder, Carlos Brown developed arthritis in his knees, Brandon Minor was dinged up and I'm sure there were a number of smaller injuries. Unless Michigan dramatically improves on offense, the season is shot. The only way that Michigan dramatically improves is if Denard Robinson becomes a Pat White clone. Michigan will need to put up big numbers because the defense is going to be weak. Its going to take a skilled position guy like Denard to really really excel. An average offense isn't going to cut it. A good offense probably won't cut it (Tate). The offense has to be dynamic. If Tate beats Denard out, then Denard doesn't have what it takes and we are looking at a probable 6 win season. Because of that, Denard is the most important player. He may not be the most irreplaceable yet, but the season hinges on his development.

I went with the cynical choice: the rookie punter. Thanks for offering it. Better get used to seeing young Will ply his trade this season.
