Wolverines tear up Brutus ... at the Detroit Zoo

By AnnArbor.com Staff

As the Wolverines prepare for Saturday's game against Ohio State, some wolverines (lower-case W) are already ripping into the scarlet and gray.

The Detroit Zoo put a treat-filled piñata into its wolverine exhibit this morning that was designed to resemble the Buckeyes’ mascot, Brutus. Check out a picture of Luka and Jigi enjoying their tasty treat.

The Wolverines on the Michigan football team play at Ohio State on Saturday (noon, ABC).

Have sympathy for the dogs of Buckeyes not only do they nuts for owners, they also have to work hard to warn those nuts of all things that are dangerous to a Buckeye. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBWrMQVsuak&feature=related

If you are traveling to The Game this weekend please dont be fearful, although a Buckeye is a nut, even squirrel can handle a Buckeye. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rOFR9ToxT0

I have never been attacked while alone, and wearing my Michigan colors on any Big Ten campus including Columbus, but I have a friend of a friend who did. Here is a reenactment of how he told the story of the attack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oraONu7Jp_Y&feature=related

This incident is about as funny as the UM Band's Wizard of Oz halftime that trashed OSU and Script Ohio. Not! By the way, don't Wolverines sometimes eat their own kind, especially the young? If RR is any indication, they do. His press conferences "feast" on his young player's shortcomings.
