CINCINNATI, Ohio - Dayeesha Hollins dropped in a go-ahead layup with 17 seconds left, helping the University of Michigan women's basketball team defeat No. 8-ranked Xavier, 72-71, on Monday at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Wolverines' Carmen Reynolds nailed two key three-pointers down the stretch, setting the table for Hollins' game-winning bucket. The victory is Michigan's first over a ranked opponent since Dec. 12, 2008, when the Wolverines topped No. 8 Notre Dame, 63-50. (MGoBlue.com)
