University of Michigan men's soccer shuts out Cincinnati, 2-0, for nonconference win
It took just 16 minutes for the University of Michigan men's soccer team to score what proved to be the game-winning goal in a 2-0 shutout victory over Cincinnati Wednesday night at the U-M Soccer Stadium in Ann Arbor.
Justin Meram provided the goal -- his second game-winner of the season -- at the 16th minute of the first half. Netting an insurance goal for the Wolverines was Matt Schmitt, who scored in the second half at the 60th minute.
