University of Michigan men's soccer team ranked No. 22 in preseason poll
Coming off a 13-6-3 record and an appearance in the round of 16 at the NCAA Tournament, the University of Michigan men’s soccer team is ranked No. 22 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America preseason top 25 heading into the 2009 campaign.
The Wolverines, led by head coach Steve Burns, will face five ranked teams in the preseason top 25, starting with their season opener at No. 12 Notre Dame on Sept. 1.
Michigan opens exhibition play on Thursday against Marquette University at East Kentwood High School in Grand Rapids.
