Construction crews are finally clearing away from the Yost Ice Arena parking lot as renovations on the old building are coming to a close.

The University of Michigan's official athletics website MGoBlue.com offered a glimpse inside the home of Michigan hockey team and to say it looks drastically different is a vast understatement.

Gone are the wooden benches which are replaced with aluminum bleachers. There are new windows, seven additional luxury suites and a sound system to go along with the new scoreboard, which was installed last year.

In all, it cost $16 million to make the arena look like the same old Yost from the outside and a brand new Yost on the inside.

Check out the video at MGoBlue.com.

I love Yost and can't wait to skate there again. Thanks for the windows.
