Ypsilanti boy, considered top junior goaltender, taken off life support

Ian Jenkins of Ypsilanti, a 15-year-old goaltender recently drafted by the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, was taken off life support Friday and is not expected to recover, The Detroit Free Press reported.

Jenkins fell from the bed of a pickup truck on Thursday and suffered a head injury, The Free Press reported. Jenkins is at University of Michigan Health System.

Unbelievable tragedy. Prayers for Ian, his family, friends, and classmates . . . Many people, including entire church congregations, are praying for you all.

A local youth and family suffer this kind of accident and the news does not report? I read it on facebook! Too bad they are too busy reporting dead geese!
