Two goals, as the old saying goes, is the most dangerous lead in hockey.

That's not to say erasing a two-goal deficit is easy, as Temperance Bedford found out against Pioneer Saturday afternoon at the Southeastern Conference Showcase at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube.

Trailing 4-2 in the third period, Bedford's comeback efforts took a serious hit when first-liners Drew Bachli and Blake Podgorski were given 10-minute misconducts with 7 minutes remaining in the game. Bachli had scored Bedford's two goals, one of which Podgorski assisted on.

"It's real tough, I mean we were trying to battle through some pretty rough calls already and when they're taking our top guys, whaddya gonna do?" said Bedford coach Randy Menchac. "We just didn't get it done tonight." (Rest of the story & photo gallery | Boxscore)
