Snyder signs bill expanding role of volunteers in state conservation efforts

Gov. Rick Snyder today signed legislation that supporters are hailing as a way for the Department of Natural Resources to better protect Michigan’s natural resources. And that comes by allowing volunteers to assume an expanded role in the state’s land and wildlife conservation efforts.
