Robert Glass Dexter Schools Superintendent Robert Glass will be the new superintendent of Bloomfield Hills Schools, the district reported on its website. The school board chose Glass Wednesday over the other finalist, Michael Simeck, superintendent of Berkley schools, because of his people skills, an Oakland Press article said.

A Dexter middle school student was stabbed in the ear by another student this afternoon, officials said. Dexter Superintendent Rob Glass said the incident occurred around 4 p.m. on the campus of Cornerstone Elementary School, which is at Dan Hoey and Bates Road. Cornerstone houses kindergarden through second grade students.
