An Ypsilanti Township man who gained the attention of police officers across the country last year when he produced videos praising the shootings of local officers has been charged with possessing a Taser. Madison Tristan Mealing, 38, has not yet been arraigned in court, records show.

A man was taken for a psychological exam after Pittsfield Township police say he advanced at an officer holding a tire iron and deliberately backed his vehicle into a patrol car. The man, who was eventually shot with a Taser and was arrested, could now face criminal charges, reports said.

Ypsilanti High School student who was Tasered faces felony charge

An Ypsilanti High School junior who was Tasered in March has been charged with resisting a Washtenaw County sheriff's deputy at the school. Delonte Price, 17, is charged with assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer, Washtenaw County Court records show.
