Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies identified several juveniles accused of breaking into Scio Township apartments last week after a resident videotaped two of them attempting to enter a residence, officials said. Four break-ins occurred in the Woodchase apartment complex between July 19-21.

Eastern Michigan University police are urging students who live near campus to take precautions following an increase in burglaries over the past two weeks. The break-ins have primarily occurred on streets near campus, including one on Emmet, one on North Adams, and two on Cross Street.

Ypsilanti police are investigating a burglary reported Thursday in the 600 block of West Cross Street, a police incident log said. Someone broke in through the window of an apartment and took $300 cash, according to the log. The incident was reported at 12:48 p.m.
