Two large fights early Sunday on the same block in Ypsilanti caused at least one person to suffer head injuries, according to police. Ypsilanti police officers were sent at 1:52 a.m. and 2:37 a.m. Sunday to the 500 block of West Cross Street for reports of large fights.

A man and woman were arrested this morning after Ann Arbor police responded to reports of fights outside The Fifth Quarter, a bar on South Fifth Avenue, police said. Roughly 200 people were leaving the bar shortly after 2 a.m. when police say two groups of people started fighting.
