Next up in the gubernatorial campaign: a debate over debates. Democrat Virg Bernero called for eight televised debates. Republican Rick Snyder wants three -- all of them before out-of-state absentee ballots, including for military personnel overseas, are mailed out by Sept. 18. That's 45 days before the Nov. 2 election.
