The University of Michigan is on the U.S. News and World Report's list of top hospitals, according to the 2010-2011 Best Hospitals rankings released this morning. U-M ranked 14 on the honor roll of the top 14 hospitals, meaning it ranked highly in six or more of its specialties.

Chelsea Community Hospital plans 100,000-square-foot construction project

Chelsea Community Hospital soon will join the ranks of Michigan’s medical facilities undergoing new construction. Hospital officials are concluding their plans to demolish three buildings on campus and build a new two-story structure of about 100,000 square feet.
