Jenn McKee

Entertainment Reporter Staff

A graduate of Brighton High School and the University of Michigan (as well as the University of Georgia and Penn State University), I wrote about theater for The Michigan Daily, played trombone for the Michigan Marching Band and basketball band (in the Fab 5 era), and spent 5 years as a staff entertainment reporter for The Ann Arbor News before joining the staff of AnnArbor.com. I primarily cover theater, film and books, with occasional forays into music, radio, television and comedy. I've published short stories (and ONE poem!) in literary journals, and one of my stories, "Under the Influence," was chosen by Joyce Carol Oates for inclusion in the anthology, "Best New American Voices 2003." My lovely husband is an Ann Arbor native, and we have two young daughters, Lily and Neve; to read about our adventures in parenting, check out my blog: http://www.anadequatemom.com.
