Ann Arbor CodeRED system tested

CodeRED is the City of Ann Arbor's emergency notification system.

The City of Ann Arbor tested its CodeRED emergency notification system today. Phone calls originated from the number 866-419-5000 to notify citizens of critical community alerts. If you did not receive the call, connect to the CodeRED system to update your information.

This is a message from the City of Ann Arbor Office of Emergency Management with important information for all residents and businesses located within the City of Ann Arbor.

We have licensed the CodeRED Community Notification System to help disseminate information about emergency situations in your neighborhood or critical community alerts that affect the City of Ann Arbor.

We encourage all residents and businesses to go to the City of Ann Arbor website, at www.a2gov.org, Click on the CodeRED link and update your contact information. Include phone numbers, text, and email addresses, to confirm all of the data in our system is accurate and current.

If you do not have Internet access, please contact a friend or family member to help add your contact information into the emergency database. You can also call the Office of Emergency Management directly at 734-794-6980 for assistance.

Thank you for your continued support of this emergency notification system.
