At 9:00 p.m., the Snyder campaign is said to be 80% confident of victory. At 9:45 p.m., WXYZ calls the race for Snyder.

The Detroit Free Press has called the race for Snyder.

Snyder gave a victory speech at 11:02 p.m.

US Representative, 7th District

The Battle Creek Enquirer is covering the MI-7 race, as is the Jackson Citizen-Patriot.

The National Journal's "Hotline On Call" and the AP call the race for Tim Walberg; href="http://hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com/archives/2010/08/schauer_to_face.php">he will face Mark Schauer in the fall, in a rematch of 2008.

US Representative, 13th District

MLive reports that U.S. Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick is losing to challenger Hansen Clarke in the Democratic primary. Cheeks Kilpatrick is the mother of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. Michigan Radio has called the race.
