Silvio's Pizza expanding into space on North University formerly occupied by Beanie June

Today's lunch outing turned into a news gathering operation. Silvio's Organic Pizza has a building permit up, and work is under way for expansion into the space next door to them at 715 N. University Ave. formerly occupied by the Beanie June women's clothing boutique. We'll follow up with more information when we have it.
Edward Vielmetti eats pizza for AnnArbor.com. He's still looking for a local pizza place that serves a cudighi pizza as good as the Congress Lounge in Ishpeming, MI.

That's great news. I "discovered" them at the Art Fair a few years ago and make it a point to go there when I can.

The only time i had some was at Art fair and it was dreadful. I don't think i even finished the slice.
