DFCU Financial donates to Ypsilanti Schools Foundation and Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation
Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation announced March 17 a $10,000 gift to the One Million Reasons Campaign in support of programs in the Ann Arbor Public Schools for the 2011-2012 academic year. The contribution comes from DFCU Financial on the occasion of its expansion in the Ann Arbor area.

A check was presented March 16 to the Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation at DFCU Financial’s branch office on Green Road in Ann Arbor. AAPSEF’s Executive Director Wendy Correll accepted the check on behalf of the Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation board.

DCFU also made a contribution to the Ypsilanti Public Schools Foundation on March 16.
The Ypsilanti Public Schools Foundation was established as a nonprofit in January 2007. The foundation will establishment endowments for the purpose of awarding student scholarships and mini-grants to classroom teachers to enhance the educational experience.
The Ann Arbor Public Schools Educational Foundation is an independent, community-based, nonprofit organization providing community support for innovative and excellent educational opportunities. All proceeds from the One Million Reasons Campaign, including DFCU Financial’s gift, will be directed to the Ann Arbor Public School District’s 2011-2012 academic year.
