The Charles Reinhart Co., Realtors hosted its fourth annual American Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, Feb. 10, surpassing their goal of donors, including five first-time donors.

Over the past four years, Reinhart has produced 131 pints of blood, which could benefit as many as 400 patients, the result of a partnership between the Charles Reinhart and the Washtenaw County Chapter of the American Red Cross.

“It was a pleasure to chair this Reinhart community event,” said Ed Ridha, Chair of the 2012 Blood Drive and Associate Broker with the Charles Reinhart Co., Realtors.

“It is evident we are a company full of professionals willing to help our community. A huge thank you goes out to the blood donors, baked goods and juice donors, and all of the on-site volunteers.”

Ed Riha, a Reinhart Realtor and chair for this year's blood drive, couldn't seem to stop working, even while donating.

Washtenaw County residents interested in donating blood are asked to contact the Washtenaw County Chapter of the American Red Cross at 734-971-5300.

The Charles Reinhart Company was founded in Ann Arbor in 1971 and today has more than 170 associates in six offices.
