From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., all 8-inch subs (sandwiches numbered 1-6) will cost $1 during the event. The offer is for an in-store purchase only and is limited to one per person.

Definitely an ad. That said, not a bad deal for a sandwich.

I guess this is one way for them to compete against Mike's Deli - give it away!

@ JGS Jimmy Johns is far better than you give it credit for. First off Subway is the white castle of sub places. Second Dibellas is overpriced and has average subs, IMO they are overrated. I have never eaten at Mike's but if your review of other sub places is indicative of Mike's then I never will.

LOL compete against Mike's Deli? There's no competition there. The quality and absolute greatness of Mike's Deli dwarfs any competitors IMHO. JJ's is like the White Castle of sandwiches/subs. Dibella's is another GREAT sandwich shop that makes JJ's look uninviting for sure. I'll take a Bonnie's Blessing (from MD) and a God Father (from Dibellas) to go! Yum!

Lisa, Serious question - is this a paid advertisement? If it is, I think a2.com ought to denote that. If not...how do you decide when a sale gets its own news story?
