Paparazzi: Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory supports Girl Scout Camp scholarships
The Ann Arbor franchise of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory helped out local Girl scouts in several ways in early April. The company provided 10 percent discounts to any Girl Scout or former Girl Scout who brought in a sash, vest or membership pin and then donated a percentage of those sales to fund camp scholarships for girls in the Ann Arbor Region of Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan.

Last fall, to honor Veterans Day, Troop 40124 packed boxes of snacks and personal care items to send to military service members serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Soon they will be helping Alpha House, Ann Arbor’s inter-faith family shelter.
Right now, Troop 40124 is looking forward to going horseback riding. In order to raise the funds for her troop’s activities, Scouts are selling Girl Scout cookies. Angela Eddins also pitched in by buying lots of Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs and Do-si-dos to use in Rocky Mountain’s fudge and candied apples.
Additionally, she made the offer that any Girl Scout or former Girl Scout who brought in a sash, vest or membership pin through April 10 would receive 10 percent off her purchase at Rocky Mountain, and the business will donate a percentage of the sales made to Girl Scouts to fund camp scholarships for girls in the Ann Arbor Region of Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is located at 521 E. Liberty St. in downtown Ann Arbor.
