Saline sisters take over Bridgewater Bank Tavern

Saline High School graduates and sisters Sarah McClimon and Christina Spensley bought the Bridgewater Bank Tavern last month and plan to keep the old restaurant's traditions alive, according to a Saline Reporter story.
The sisters worked for the restaurant's two previous owners and had planned to one day take it over, the report said.
The site of the restaurant in Bridgewater Township originally was the Bridgewater Bank, which opened in the late 1800s. It was converted into a bar in the early 1970s, according to the Reporter.

Best of luck to the new owners. Nothing was mentioned in this article about the owner before the Finkbeiners. I think she (Sue) really turned the place around in my opinion. What happened to all the old photographs that were on the wall? From a quality standpoint, they need to back off on the grease a little bit with the fries etc. Otherwise, its a great stop and an asset to the local community.

Ive had food and drink out there... Great Place to eat, drink and socialize...... Doesnt hurt that the staff good looking and friendly!!!

@cinnabar7071, I have eaten there several times since the girls have been running it and haven't had any bad food yet, and they have wonderful personalitys too.

I have been lucky enough to have eaten there already. The food was great. Lots of items to look at, including the specials. The drink pour was very generous. Both sister's happened to be there that night and were very freindly. I live in Ann Arbor but plan to return again soon.

same here cinnabar7071, i'll try out new places once and if it's bad i'll give them one more chance but if the second visit isn't any better than i'm out.
