McDonald's to unveil remodeled store off I-94 in Ypsilanti
The McDonald's on James L. Hart Parkway in Ypsilanti Township has completed its renovation project.
The store, located at 166 James L. Hart Parkway, now has a redesigned dining room, double drive-thru lanes, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The restaurant will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Natalie Stavale, a press contact for McDonald’s, said the corporate-owned location remained operational throughout the entire construction project.
To celebrate the grand reopening, this McDonald’s restaurant is offering week-long menu promotions, including free samples, and buy-one-get-one-free Big Mac and Quarter Pounder sandwiches.
It is also hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony Oct. 26, where children from Brick Elementary School will accept a $500 donation.
The remodeling comes months after the fast-food chain launched a national hiring campaign, with plans to add 50,000 workers, including dozens to the Washtenaw County locations.
There are 16 McDonald’s stores in Washtenaw County. Several have been remodeled in recent years.

A billion dollar company should not be donating $500. Feels like an insult.

I hope they are able to get orders right. The Stadium McDonald's will get the order wrong 50 percent of the time!

From a business point of view - good for McDonalds. From the point of view of a growing population - meaning waistlines - who needs another McDonalds. This morning one breakfast sauage patty (home made), two (home made) biscuits (2" x 2"), and two eggs constituted a similarity to the McDonalds egg sandwich. I would suggest ours had less fat, less salt, and less calories then theirs. I would also suggest the time to prep, prepare, and cook (including clean up) took about as long as the line and check out at McDonalds. Time spent in the kitchen together priceless. We served two & they one.

I have lived in Ypsi for 20 years and I stopped going to this location in the 1980s because the service was so bad. Out of towners would inevitably go there (right off highway exit) and all make the same comments.

They should have big mac eating contests. And contests to stuff a whole big mac in your mouth. Then post the videos on youtube.
