Zap Zone expands, moves from Ann Arbor to Pittsfield Township
Zap Zone, a Michigan laser tag and arcade chain, recently relocated from Boardwalk Street in Ann Arbor to Carpenter Road in Pittsfield Township.

Zap Zone recently relocated to 4177 Carpenter Road in Pittsfield Township.

The move gives the business prime frontage on Carpenter compared to its old location in an industrial park at 2809 Boardwalk Drive.
The Zap Zone franchise owner, Gaz Ismail, could not be reached for comment to discuss the move over the last week.
It also allowed the business to expand in size and add more attractions, such as bumper cars and a larger arcade selection, according to the Zap Zone website. Food will also be served at the new location.
Zap Zone’s new hours are 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to midnight on Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, and 12-9 p.m on Sunday.
There are seven Zap Zone franchises in Michigan.
Lazer Planet, a similar laser tag business, opened in late 2010 in downtown Dexter.

Not sure where you got the information about its old location, but the strip mall on Boardwalk is not an industrial park. It has a dance studio, a gym, a church, a daycare center, and a few other small businesses. It was also located next to Ann Arbor's public preschool. Not sure how that's an industrial park...

The one in Canton near Haggerty is much nicer and cleaner too. I have not frequented the one in Ann Arbor because of its size and location. If it has glow putt putt we might, otherwise the one in Canton is pretty cool. Good luck on the move. I am also thinking this use to be the location of GFS.

The new Zap Zone is where Gordon Foods USED to be before the moved to their current location next to Lowe's. After Gordon Foods moved, that building was a Chinese grocery for a short time.

I find it interesting that Mr. GAZ ISHMAIL cannot find time to communicate with AnnArbor.com after receiving "free publicity." Where is Mr. GAZ?

Well, clearly since this article is about CAPITALISM, Lac thought it best to put the gentleman's name in all caps. Right? Because what other purpose would there be?

Awe.... gee. I'll take a wild guess that he's probably very busy moving and getting everything ready. Please watch your tone. Not sure what you were inferring with the all caps in his name either but it doesn't set well. America is a melting pot not a George Foreman grill.

Lac...Ed made a good point ( I hate it when he does that ) And all it said he couldn't be reached. So what ? I hardly think A2 put a lot of effort into reaching him for something this minor

I'm curious, Lac, Any reason you put his name in all caps? Were you trying to make a point? If so, what is it? Good Night and Good Luck
