Bob Seger, others autograph guitars for charity auction
The Associated Press reports that Ann Arbor favorite son Bob Seger is among musicians who have signed guitars to be auctioned off in the fight against child cancer.

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) - Guitars signed by Carlos Santana, Ozzie Osbourne, The Doobie Brothers, Toby Keith and Willie Nelson are going on the auction block to aid the fight against child cancer.
Beaumont Children's Hospital holds its "Stars Guitar" benefit on Oct. 26 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn.
Proceeds support the hospital's pediatric cancer programs in the Detroit suburbs of Royal Oak, Grosse Pointe and Troy.
The guitars include a Gibson Les Paul signed by the the late Les Paul.
Others are signed by Bad Company; Crosby, Stills & Nash; Kid Rock; Bob Seger; Angels & Airwaves; Fall Out Boy; Jimmy Eat World; Rob Zombie; Staind; The Jonas Brothers; Gretchen Wilson; Brad Paisley; and Kenny Chesney.

I think it's great that Bob Seger is contributing one of his signed guitars for a good cause. I hope it brings in many needed dollars. I feel the same about the others who are sharing a part of themselves. KUDOS, guys.
