Concentrate has a nice video interview today with Mike Kabat proprietor of Haab's Restaurant in Ypsilanti. Kabat talks about the restaurant's history, including the fact that the building has housed a restaurant since its construction in the 1850s.

Kabat talks about the Haab brothers purchase of the business in 1934. A good portion of the video is devoted to Kabat's description of the restaurant's once-a-year celebration of its opening as Haab's in 1934. On that day, the restaurant sells a few items from the original 1934 menu at 1934 prices.
