Playwright and U-M professor OyamO teaching at Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival this week
University of Michigan professor and playwright OyamO (Charles Gordon) was selected for 1 of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) Faculty Fellowships, recognizing outstanding achievement as teaching artists. The festival happens in Washington, D.C. this week, April 13-17.
OyamO was among those selected from colleges and universities across the country to showcase their talents and mentor student award-recipients, as well as teach master classes. Students and faculty are eligible for awards for distinction in performance, stage design, playwriting, directing, stage management, dramaturgy, and dramatic criticism.
