What is the venue for live theater or a show and what is the best stage performance group in Washtenaw County? The voters in AnnArbor.com’s BestOf contest say it’s the Michigan Theater and Redbud Productions.

Voting for both the venue and performance group contests began last Sunday and ended at 11:59 p.m. Saturday. For best venue for live theater or a show, it was a pretty close race between Performance Network Theater and the Michigan Theater throughout the week. By the end of the contest, the Michigan Theater took first place with 46 votes. Performance Network Theater finished No. 2 with 30 votes and Hill Auditorium finished in third place. For best stage performance group, Performance Network Theater rose to the top again along with Redbud Productions. As the contest ended, Redbud Productions finished in first place with 65 votes. Performance Network Theater finished No. 2 with 40 votes and The Penny Seats finished in third place.
