The New Children of PTG

By Pioneer Theatre Guild

Pioneer Theatre Guild was extremely excited to see over 85 new faces at our New Members meeting! Seeing the excitement and curiosity of them brought me back to my first days at PTG. The first Theatre Guild show I saw was “Beauty and the Beast” when I was in 7th grade, and I remember returning home after the performance and bursting into tears because I was so taken with the beauty and passion that each artist exuded. At my first meeting at PTG, I didn’t know a single person, but I was overcome with the exact same curiosity and amazement that I saw in the new members this past week. One of the most rewarding parts of being in Theatre Guild is learning from an entirely new array of backgrounds and stories with each new year. This new group seems like an incredibly good hearted and creative bunch, based on my short conversations with many of them, and I honestly can't wait to bond with each of them. I, along with the rest of Theatre Guild, am so very eager to welcome each of these incoming guilders and build another TG family this year :)

On a different note, but still quite an exciting one, Oklahoma auditions will be happening this week through Thursday. With the conclusion of these, we can officially..... drum roll please..... GET OKLAHOMA ROLLING!!!
