ENTERTAINMENT DETAILS

Darin Rajabian and Caroline Myrick met at a Michigan house show in early 2010. They soon discovered a mutual infatuation with dream-life, dancing, and pop music, and began work on a new project to incorporate Caroline’s soft vocals with Darin’s classic euro-disco inspired tracks.
Performing since: Late 2010
Home base: Ann Arbor
Style of music: Indie Pop/ New Disco
Band name backstory: All good things happen at night.
Day jobs: Darin is an engineer/DJ, Caroline works as a cashier at a dry cleaners downtown.
Favorite road food: Sushi & Jet's Pizza
Favorite stage outfit: Denim
Musical hero: Each other

Fusing homegrown electronics, saxophone, guitar, acoustic percussion and synthesizers, genre-bending pop composer Charlie Slick brings his high-energy electronic dance party to the Rackham Stage.
Performing since: 2005 - but the group has had different members and musical voices
Home base: Ann Arbor
Style of music: Post Modern/Electronic/Pop
Members: Charles Slick, Molly Mascow, Micah Vanderhoof
Band name backstory: The Slick persona was created as an anti-version of myself, like a mirror mirror version, but that was back in 2005. Strangely, I am more like the slick persona now, than I am like the old me—like a self-fulfilling prophecy. The me before Slick doesn't really exist anymore.
Day jobs: Regular boring stuff—like the kind of stuff that makes you want to go out and play crazy pop music at night.
Favorite road food: Sushi
Favorite stage outfit: I think Micah and Molly try to dress smart and cool, while I try to choose stuff that will allow me to transform during my performance--from a regular guy into—something else.
Musical hero: Prince

Movie: "Answer This!" - 10 p.m.
Running time: 105 minutes. 2011. Rating: PG-13
Ann Arbor filmmaker Chris Farah’s comedy tells the story of a boy finally coming of age - when he's 30. A brilliant trivia whiz, Paul Tarson (Christopher Gorham), is great at answering life's little questions, but horrible at answering the big ones. Now he and his friends will finally get a shot at beer, women, and nerdy redemption when they enter the biggest challenge of their lives, a citywide pub trivia tournament set in and around the University of Michigan.
