According to CBS Detroit and WWJ, "Racing with the Sun," a 30 minute documentary about the University of Michigan's solar car team, will premiere at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the Michigan Theater screening room, at 603 E. Liberty St. Admission is free, and members of U-M's team will be on hand to answer questions afterward.

Those who can't make the screening will have a second chance to view the film when TV's Big Ten Network airs the doc on Friday, Feb. 10, immediately following the U-M/Michigan State hockey game.

The film focuses on the World Solar Challenge, which took place in October 2011. Michigan's team placed third, behind teams from Japan and the Netherlands.
