"Youth in Revolt" contest invites participants to be bad

"Youth in Revolt," the movie partially shot in Ann Arbor in 2008 and hitting theaters on January 8, features Michael Cera as Nick Twisp, a straitlaced teen with, shall we say, seedier desires. To get away with doing the things that would put his good conscience into question, Twisp crafts a "supplementary persona" named Francois Dillinger (pictured on this 'Revolt' poster).

In this spirit, CollegeHumor.com recently launched the "Join the Revolution" contest, encouraging participants to channel their inner Francois. The rules are simple: dress up like Dillinger (a mustache — either real or fake will do — is required, as are aviator glasses; Dillinger's dress shirt is optional), make some mischief in public (no indecency, no "risky behavior") and shoot a video (20 seconds and 80 megabytes or less) of the alter egoed antics.

At stake is a grand prize that includes 2 round-trip tickets to Las Vegas, a night at the Paris hotel, and $250 cash. Plus, the winning video may be featured on the DVD release of "Youth in Revolt." Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on January 2 and complete rules are available at the contest web site.

Not sure how to be Francois Dillinger? This clip chronicles the birth of bad:
