Ypsilanti High School to host casting call for MTV show "Made"

By Bob Needham

Ypsilanti High School students get a shot at fame next week.

The MTV show "Made" - in which teens get a chance to pursue a dream - plans a casting call in the auditorium at Ypsilanti High School, 2095 Packard Road, from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22.

The casting call is only open to Ypsilanti High School students, who need to register in advance to participate. Ypsilanti is one of four high schools in Michigan hosting casting calls.

In 2006, Huron High School student Dylan Wood was chosen to appear on the show in an episode in which he pursued a dream of becoming a fashion designer.
