On Wednesday, the nonprofit Ann Arbor Cooperative Preschool celebrated the opening of its new playground structure. The new structure was paid for by fundraising done by school members and alumni.

The co-op preschool, 517 E. Washington St. in Ann Arbor, is 72 years old and says it is the oldest co-op nursery in the state of Michigan. It is a school for 3-year-old and 4-year-old children.
