10-foot tall Lego menorah assembled to celebrate Hanukkah
A 10-foot tall Lego menorah was assembled today in Briarwood Mall, part of the fourth annual Chanukah Wonderland sponsored by Chabad of Ann Arbor.
The Lego display was set up near JC Penney, while the Chanukah Wonderland is in the Sears wing until Monday and includes a public menorah lighting each evening at 5:30 p.m.
Chanukah Wonderland was designed to offer a true Jewish experience for people of all ages. Children dress up for photos as Judah the Maccabee, dip their very own Chanukah candles, and even make potato latkes and sufganiyot, traditional jelly-filled doughnuts.
The eight-day Hanukkah festival of light runs from Dec. 1-9.
