Ann Arbor Police continue search for missing woman

By Heidi Fenton

Ann Arbor Police continue to search for a 23-year-old woman missing since Friday.

Detective Bill Stanford said Tuesday police received a tip that Lauren Lysbeth Dondero may have been sighted near Detroit, but police were not able to locate her.

Dondero was last seen Friday in her vehicle, a 2003 blue Honda Accord with the Michigan license plate of BPB-5032. Police on Monday issued a public alert asking for help in a search to find her.

The woman, who is not a student but lives in Ann Arbor, has made no contact with friends or family since last week.

Stanford said her disappearance is not considered suspicious, but police are concerned because she has not been seen in several days.

“We would like to locate her for her own safety,” he said.

Dondero is described as a white woman, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Stanford at 734-323-2628 or the police tip line at 734-794-6939.
