Alicia Doudna, injured in a July crash with her fiance Andrew Kratzat, will play at a benefit concert for the couple tonight at Kerrytown Concert House.

Both Doudna and Kratzat suffered traumatic brain injuries in the July 26 crash and spent their first weeks in the hospital in comas. Kratzat was transferred to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for rehabilitation and is still there.

The concert is at 8 p.m. today at the concert house, where the couple first met performing in an ensemble as part of the annual Edgefest jazz festival.
