Students and staff at Bryant Elementary in Ann Arbor will get an extra day off from school today due to a power outage.

Ann Arbor Public Schools spokesperson Liz Margolis notified families early Tuesday that the power outage was forcing the school cancellation.

DTE Energy has not been able to give the district an indication when power will be restored, she said.

DTE's power outage map does not indicate multiple outages in Washtenaw County as of 6 a.m.
